Awesome, don't listen to the haters. I think they've never cruised before and didn't know what to expect from a big ship or didn't do their research. This was our 12th cruise but first on MSC. We are Gold on Disney and RCCL. We will be back to MSC for sure!
Embarkation

One hour from parking lot to aboard ship. Can't ask for anything smoother.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

MDR great variety, loved all the many and varied seafood options, lamb, chicken, only steak I had wasn't great. Desserts were fine, no creme Brule we noticed and no escargot. But sea bass and swordfish, mussels, calamari, octopus, scallops, even salmon was prepared head and shoulders above RCCL. Never a wait at any bars, many to choose from. delicious smoothies, oj, and cappuccinos. FREE SOFT SERVE WITH TOPPINGS WAS EXCELLENT!!! Daily on pool deck from 11am to 7pm. Never broken like other lines!!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Never a crowd on the pool deck which is so important to us. We all found chairs together no matter if we wanted to be in sun or shade. Fun exercise classes and dance classes on pool deck. We didn't really do the crowded promenade "moments " but they looked fun. My daughters refuse to do silent disco with me once again ! Lol lived indoor pool too. Perfect all weather ship.
Entertainment

EXCELLENT singers! Waaaaay better than RCCL. Amy in carousel shows is amazing. All headliner singers
and dancers outstanding. We loved the dancer from Colombia especially.
The broadway styleshows were not boring and monotonouslike on other lines .
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room was made up twice a day, clean, all supplies we needed and requested. Our steward Eduin was so kind and accommodating. Our MDR servers were speedy and accommodating no matter what we requested.
Ship Quality

Gorgeous, sparkling, meticulously cleaned and upkept ship. She is gorgeous.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Perfect for 3, we had split queen and sofa bed. Closet was fine, plenty of hanging space but cubbies and drawers seemed limited. Not sure why there are no drawers in main desk in cabin. But plenty of floor space and didn't seem crowded with 3.
Ship tip
Go walk around entire buffet to back, there's outdoor seating in buffet too. No crowds if you keep walking
Meh, if we were in port longer it would have been more useful but that's not how these itineraries work. Did same on RCCL. On Disney Cruise line from New York we actually arrived 7am and of course spent entire day in all 3 parks, got back to ship at midnight. But that's different of course!
Okay, so we've been to Nassau more times than I can count. I was SO GLAD they finally put our port fees to use after all these years and built that beautiful concourse. Guess what... it wasn't open! Seriously!! Says open 7 days a week from 9 to 6 or something. Come on, Nassau! You promised us a museum and aquarium!!! I would love to avoid any future cruises with Nassau in the itinerary! So annoyed!
