I will probably not cruise with MSC again. This was my 4th cruise using different cruise lines and this by far rated on the bottom. I didn’t find most of the staff particularly friendly, the buffet food was sub par at best. We sailed through a pretty vicious storm and it was only addressed once by the captain, even though we endured two days of scary turbulence

Pack your patience. Getting into the port was lengthy, getting on and off the ship took hours
I cruised with Royal Caribbean and was right in the heart of shopping when we disembarked. This ship put us in the middle of nowhere and I had to pay a taxi $20 to get into town
Beautiful. The only drawback is the long line for the buffet on the island. We decided to wait until the line dwindled, except they closed down by 2 p.m. Disappointing. Only thing left was to buy food. Can’t beat Royal Caribbean when it comes to putting on a free, all day spread at their private island
