Overall, we enjoyed this cruise very much and we would do it again. It was a very pleasant first experience on MSC.
Embarkation

When traveling to the port, the address led us to the wrong street to enter the port. The gate was closed, so we had to follow other cars who were in the same situation to the correct address. When getting on our cruise, we were not given a boarding group number and had to go back to request it, so we could know when we were able to board. The Brooklyn port was disorganized when we got on and when we got off. They only had one working gangplank, which made disembarkation twice as long..

The food was exceptional and the head waiter Jackson was extremely attentive, along with the rest of the MDR staff. We loved the specialty restaurants we went to with the dinning package we took. Even though it was a limited menu, it supplied a great choice of food and the quality was excellent.
Onboard Activities

We used the adult pool on Deck 18, which was fantastic. We took the spa package and we used the hot tubs, salt rooms and heated marble lounge chairs, that were awesome.
Entertainment

We saw some very good shows that we enjoyed very much. We enjoyed the staff performances all over the ship, especially in the Sky Lounge.

The service on board was exceptional. Our cabin steward, Jean Jacque Babille, was very attentive and personable. We request to have ice in our room each morning and he did this every day.
