Review summary

it was a cheap cruise. good if all you want to do is relax. the problems i had were solved but i never had these problems in a hotel or other cruise. the pool area service was good as was the rest of the ship. the guy doing our room was not. no towels or washcloths or top sheet. the people we ate with were told they didn't have washcloths. we got ours the second day.

the main dining room food was bad, service very good. i found the food in the buffet better but it was a running joke with all to have coffee creamer.

we were to have our room at 1 we got in at 3. we had 1 towel, no hand towels or washcloths. we called and left the room. we came back late ,we had towels. hand and bath,,, no washcloths. went to bed ,,,, no top sheet. when we checked out we took care of the bill and mentioned these things and were brushed off saying we would get a review in my email. i filled it out. never heard from anyone from MSC so i guess they don't care!!!

Ship tip

there is a language bearer . don't eat in the main dining room the food sucks

I always asked for a top sheet and ice bucket first day and never had a problem with towels or wash cloths ...I've been on multiple times...don't know what to say

I have read, many times, in several cruise blogs, that washcloths on cruise ships is a US market thing - and that on MSC you should ask your stateroom attendant for that on getting into your stateroom the first afternoon. A large part of the passenger compliment are from outside North America. Just sayin'.

People either love or hate MSC. Being a European cruise line, they do many things that Americans are not used to. If you do a Google search, you will find that washcloths & top sheets are not generally provided in hotels in Europe or used by many Europeans.
