Review summary

27+ cruises for me. Lots of folks aboard with many more. Many first and second time cruisers as well. It is a very nice and very well maintained ship. It is probably the best value for the dollar out there. Best part for me - Minimal solo supplement, 10% - 15%. No other cruise line is offering anything close to that. Planning a cruise for my immediate family group - 7 total - for spring of 2023.

Embarkation

A bit slow but, general boarding was delayed a bit due to a late arrival and delay in clearing the previous cruise to disembark. Short wait at security. Once past it was smooth sailing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Restaurant not crowded. Traveling solo and was placed at a large table with other solo cruisers. About half disappeared and were never seen again. The rest of us enjoyed nice meals together.

Onboard Activities

Mostly into going for a low key and relaxing cruise and did just that. Participation in onboard activities were rather limited.

Entertainment

Must recommend the shows in the Carousel Theater. These two shows were outstanding!

Staff & crew were great. All were attentive and helpful.

Shio is very well maintained. It is a beautiful ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Inside cabin close to elevators and stairs. Well cared for daily. Met all the basic needs at a tremendous price. Second cruise on this ship. Previously booked a balcony cabin. Also very nice.
