Boarded with great expectations. But after all the negative experiences, departed with great disappointment.

Fast and efficient once a staff member noticed my obvious handicap. Then all was fine

Main dining room was terrible.. food choices were the leftovers from the buffet lunch selection. We were most disappointed with the “French onion soup”. A soup bowl ( not a crock) of canned broth, with a floating slice of white wonder bread (not a baguette) topped with a slice of American cheese! We speculated the chef was trained at WaffleHouse!

Too small, get rid of the closet doors.. hard to open and serve no purpose… bathroom is fine.. tight squeeze to access the balcony…

I went on the MSC Meraviglia. The ship was FANTASTIC, lots of bling. The entertainment was sub level. - it had a basketball court but NO basketball. - the formula one arcade game didn't work during the whole cruise. - it took 45mins for them to bring me my rum and coke to the dinner table - Breakfast was terrible - lunch was ok - dinner was nothing to brag about - the music was VERY one sided No hip- hop No r&b No oldies No house music No club music - Checking in was a mad house and slow - Checking out was worst NOTE: WHEN CHECKING OUT ON A MSC CRUISE GO TO THE MARKET PLACE AND GET SOMETHING TO EAT IN THE MORNING THEN TAKE YOUR FOOD TO THE POOL DECK AND RELAX EAT YOUR FOOD AND STAY THERE UNTIL EVERY ONE LEAVES THE SHIP. THEN MAKE YOU WAY OFF. SMOOTH EXIT, NO WAITING, NO HASSLE.

Thank you for your review. I have read 4 reviews from the same cruise. All hated or loved different aspects of the cruise. Did not read a common thread. Guess I will find out on our cruise.

We sailed on the Meraviglia October 23rd. Spend the extra money for the Yacht Club if you can. Wonderful experience and great food. The head waiter brought us the French Onion soup from the MDR and it was great.

I was under impressed with the Meraviglia also but for totally different reasons. I thought the food was OK but the entertainment wasn't good.

People either love or hate MSC. I’ve been on 2 MSC cruises this year and thought the food was excellent. I had the French Onion soup on the Divina twice last month and it was nothing like you describe.
