Review summary

3rd time on the Meravigilia and we loved it! The first time and second time were very low capacity cruises and this time was full capacity so we were a bit worried. It was unnecessary worry because it was just as fun if not more fun. The crowds were lively and the ship was active!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had no issues with embarkation. We arrived at the assigned time on our tickets and we’re onboard within an hour. The staff was very efficient in keeping the line moving. From what I understand, we were fortunate as some stood in line longer but it was a full ship so a much bigger crowd this time around

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I love the fresh mozzarella being made in the buffet. The choices are endless. We skipped the MDR as we aren’t interested in spending all night eating so I can’t review it but it’s safe to say we didn’t go hungry. I did skip the whole octopi! That was not for me.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved loved loved the promenade parties-Flower Power and the Silent Disco!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was excellent. It seems there was a staff member at every turn just waiting with a friendly smile.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This is our 3rd sailing on the Meravigilia. It is a beautiful ship. It is very big so lots of space for everybody.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was nearly an aft cabin. It was third from the back of the ship. It was a LONG and winding walk back to our room. It was a very spacious balcony room.

Ship tip

Go to the back! Go to the back of the buffet-less ppl and more seating. People want to jam up in the mid sections. Go to the back of Ocean Cay-less people! There are less people at the food trucks and drink stations.

Ports of call

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

This was our favorite stop. We thoroughly enjoyed Bimini beach. It wasn’t crowded, the view was amazing. The food and drink stations were much less crowded.

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Super easy port with parking right there at the terminal. Parking was $17 per day.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We walked to Arawak Cay/Fish Fry area. We enjoyed it very much. It was bustling around Junkanoo Beach. There were plenty of places to grab a drink or a bite to eat.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We did the express disembarkation and we’re off the ship in 22 minutes. Be sure to have your bill settled before you go.
