This is not the best time for cruising. There is little danger of Covid, yet the restrictions are abundant and greatly reduce the cruising experience. If there is any enjoyment to be had then wait for the freedom allowed in the past. Otherwise, you are better off looking for a domestic vacation.

Fine cabin, would have appreciated more closet and drawer space. Tub/shower was unique and I would have appreciated better gripping for standing in the tub space. Balcony was wonderful and fully enjoyed having a place for our isolation.
Ship tip
Wait until Covid restrictions are removed if you really want to enjoy the freedom of this ship. And the 48 hour cancellation policy is worthless.
Always something to do. All inclusive beach facilities are abundant and competitive. Locals are appreciative and accommodating. Shopping is reasonable. One of my favorite ports.
I've been on 4 cruises since Oct 25, 2021
Elation, Mardi Gras, Allure and Meraviglia. Not one was hampered by Covid protocols. Nor did I hear of anyone complaining about the conditions. Everyone on all four ships had a great time.
Ocean Cay was stunning and am rebooking again with MSC to experience that again.
Ocean cay is wonderful! Did not have to wear a mask while you are outside. I would go on a cruise just to go to ocean cay. Wonderful place to relax and the staff there is so kind.
