Review summary

While the COVID cloud was ever present the crew did a great job of insuring COVID protocols were followed and they even tested everyone on board on Tuesday so it seemed they were attempting to do their best and go above and beyond. Our group of 5 had a very good trip and absolutely love sailing with reduced numbers!!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easiest we have ever had. There was a smaller amount of people sailing but still it was very easy and my older parents needed assistance and the help they were given was fantastic!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good and well prepared but the menu choices were limited to all the other cruises we have been on and for a non-seafood eater some nights were impossible in the MDR.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Formula 1 cars were a big hit with our son and with limited passengers on board it was never crowded.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were good with the exception of one that was pretty weird. Very talented performers but each night kind of mirrored the last with the exception of the magic show night which was very good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All crew tried exceptionally hard to help at any time and our room steward and dinner staff were excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful and easy to move around.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Least amount of closet space I have ever seen in a cruise ship cabin. Everything else was pretty standard and the larger balcony on the Aft of the ship was nice and allowed you sun or shade most of the day.

Ship tip

Find the ice cream bar located pool side on deck 15!!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Only drove into and out of the port but it was easy and marked well!

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Amazing place to have a relaxing day!!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
Only went into the port area itself as we were concerned about some of the news lately about the drug wars and that it had reached Talum which was too close for our comfort. There were military personnel protecting the port area. We were in port with three other ships so it was very crowded so we bought a few souvenirs and went back to the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We always love Cozumel. We just walked around and found it comforting that most everyone was wearing a mask and our temp was checked and entry was count controlled at the grocery store.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again it was a cruise with a smaller number of guests but it was the easiest we have ever had.

Great to know that they’re strictly following Covid-19 protocol. I’m scheduled to sail in Feb 2022.
