With exception of a few things, storage/closet space, one of the acts in one show, this was a wonderfully relaxing cruise. Over the top exceptional service, friendly staff. Great ports.

Maybe took 20 min from beginning to end, walking into terminal, going through security, chucking in then walking into the ship.

Food and Dining

A few dishes were so good I wished they were repeated-Calamari, peanut butter pie, steak, swordfish. Other than that the menu was quite limited and repeated for a 10 day cruise. With A lot of the food I found myself asking for salt and or lemon juice to give a little flavour so I could eat it, specifically the fish and pasta dishes with exception of the swordfish, it was excellent. We have taken 36 cruises on different cruise lines and have never sent back food as much as we did on this cruise. Desserts were no better with exception of the peanut butter pie. Most of the ice cream was really good, esp coconut icecream, but a few of the flavours made me gag and see sent back. Cheese and fruit plate was always a winner.
Onboard Activities

Thermal area was wonderful. We didn't do many activities, we took this cruise to relax on our balcony which was wonderful.
Entertainment

We liked all the acts but one. With The Tina Turner act I felt like I was at what I thought a strip joint would be. The dancers had tiny t-back underwear on and the dress literally came above the rear end. There were a group of young man-made late teens, early 20's in the front row. They began hooting and hollering when all the dancers bent over wagging their rears during the act. From where my husband and I were sitting it literally looked like a bunch of naked rear ends wagging at us. It cheapened the act and was quite revolting. It should have been in an x-rated show later with fair warning if this was the intent. I watched actual Tina Turner acts and although her dresses were very short, never did I see her butt. The Elvis was more opera voice than Elvis but still good. The dancers and singers are very talented. I loved the main tenor and the female singers. On a different cruise there was a Michael Jackson act that was just like being in one of his concerts. It was fabulous, I wish they had something like that on this cruise. The magician was very good.

Service and Staff

Over the top fantastic! Our room steward, Justine was a hoot, personality plus. He kept ice in our ice bucket and our cabin was kept spotless. He made the best towel creatures I have ever seen. Some of them had us laughing everytime we looked at them. The dining room staff were also exceptional. Joanna Joseph at breakfast was great. Joanna seemed to read our minds, she was intuitive with our needs and we requested her every breakfast due to that fact. My husband uses a lot of cream and almond milk and Joanna was the only person to bring it in a big enough container to suit my husband. For lunch Chris was really good as well and very attentive. Supper staff were some of the best we have ever had, Jose' Luis and his partners Stewart and Kevin belong in a 5 star restaurant. Jose' always had great suggestions for food choices, Stewart made beautiful centerpieces for our table and Kevin's smile (under his mask) and friendliness made dining in their section a joy. They were all beyond exceptional in their service which made us request their section every suppertime. The 3 hostesses, Laticia, Anne, and Marie were warm, friendly, welcoming. They were so much fun to speak to and very professional. We looked forward to them visiting our table every evening. The maitre'd (handsome) Mario, and another for which I regret I did not get his name but he was a smaller stature, handsome young man, always made sure we got a lovely seat by the window.

Not enough storage space compared to Carnival ships, the closet is a nightmare trying to get anything out of it. I had to sit on the floor to get to shoes. Very hard not to twist your back, very poor engineering, design. The cabin itself was nice, couch was good, bed a bit hard even with a topper on it. My husband had a hard time sleeping well, Carnival has MSC best in this area too.
Ship tip
Reasonably priced, beautiful ship, exceptional service keeps is coming back!
I know there are some negative comments about this port but I really like it. Any beach excursion is a winner, the water is so pretty. We sometimes go to Colonial Hilton for a beach day.
Fast, easy.We are breakfast and gathered our carry luggage then walked right out without a line to wait in. Facial recognition instead of passports to get through immigration made the entire process very fast and efficient.
Thanks for the great review. Finally someone had the idea of seasoning their food. So many complained about eating all the bland food but no one thought of adding their own salt. Everyone has a different idea of savory so it's smart to make it on the bland side and let people add their own sat, pepper, lemon, etc. Lately in America we are so used to salty fast food that everything else tastes bland.
