Overall we had a great time. Staff were helpful and friendly. We spent a lot of time by the pool but we did not see many (if any) wait staff come by to take drink orders. Only a few minor inconveniences. On days 2 and 3 the hot water wasn't working anywhere not the ship. It was fixed by the end of day 3 and we received an on board credit. We also did not get our luggage on day 1 and had to find out for ourselves where it may be. They should have a better system for securing ship luggage tags (such as airlines do with sticker type labels). The ship also does not allow irons and there were no irons in the cabin. There were no ironing services onboard either so we should have packed more wrinkle-forgiving clothes. It was just a bit disappointing that we couldn't stop at our final port of call due to the rough seas, but that's understandable and beyond the ship's control. To recap, we had a great time and lots of fun.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Long lines getting through security. Not enough staff on board for this process. Multiple lines merging into one at the end was not coordinated well. Once we got through the security, check in went smoothly. We also didn't receive one piece of our luggage. After a long process of trying to locate where the luggage may be, we were directed to the confiscated luggage area where it was found - the ships tag had come off the luggage and even though we had our name and address on the luggage itself, they could have cross referenced it to the passenger list to have it delivered to our room.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food in the main dining room was "ok". Portions were a bit small, but service was outstanding. At the Butcher's Cut steakhouse, the steak was fatty - this would have been expected at a TGIFriday's restaurant vs. a high end steakhouse. The sommelier at Butcher's Cut gave us a bit of attitude when we declined having wine with dinner. Overall the buffet was just ok - but lacked variety. The pizza was very good, but you can't have just pizza everyday. Late night options were appreciated.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pools were enjoyed as well as the water slides. Lounge chairs were hard to come by if not secured by 8:00 am.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The broadway theater had a different show every night and the dancing and singing were very well done. The daytime entertainment by the pool could be distracting as they were giving dance lessons over the PA system and would have liked to have listened to music vs. instructions on how to dance. Games by the pool such as trivia and the scavenger hunt were fun.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We received great service from our room attendant, reception and our waiter. No complaints.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Beautiful ship, lots to do. Some areas could have used more regular cleaning. It would have been nice to have a closer elevator to the aft part of the ship where our cabin was.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very comfortable interior. Balcony could have been better maintained, railing and floor were somewhat dirty. Plenty of storage on the inside, nice bathroom, plenty of room.
Ship tip
Be sure to get up early to get a lounger by the pool. Make reservations for excursions with private party vendors on-line before sailing vs. going through the ship. Much more variety at better prices.
We visited the sloth and monkey hangout, iguana reserve and then had about an hour or so at a local beach in West Bay at the end of the trip to cool off and relax. A great day!
Did the cave tubing and ATV experience with "Butt's Up" cave tubing. They carried the tubes for us to the river unlike the other tour operators. The cave tubing was fun, but it was crowded and we weren't able to really enjoy this experience as much as we expected. ATV in the jungle was so much fun!
Saw the ruins at Chacchoben which was amazing. Note: Be sure to bring water with you as this is a long tour and it was pretty hot that day. After visiting the ruins we spent a couple hours at a local beach club. Great experience!
