Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
The buffet was repeated every night nothing new. OUR main dining at 515pm was not so well. Small portions not to interesting. Didnt give the Italian vibe.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Needed more actives for the family. I did the photo hunt. And water park. 3 slides that's it.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Nmsu was okay on Latin night. Needed more diverse music when was playing guess the song game. They needed better theater shows. None were interested. Only the Crew talent show was awesome!

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
It was fun. They loved it.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Photo service was the best! Waiters at the main dining at 5:15pm were amazing very patient with the big party we had. Buffet waiter were a lil pushy and would stared awkwardly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The layout was ok. Common areas were clean. Almost the same layout as the Seaside.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Bathroom had mold in the shower and sewer smells. Small space.

Ship tip

It's for older crowds like 50+! I'm 30 and did not enjoy the cruise. Port in Costa Maya they turned the power off so we would have to just go on excursion or back to ship couldnt use ATMs to take cash out. I asked a Bartender and he confirmed what was going on. They would charge your cruise card so you would have to spend. That was bad! Beautiful port though.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Regular port to much traffic can get a little confuse.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
We visited Roatan it had a beautiful beach. The island tour could of been better didn't really see much. Not a lot of education of the port. (A whole in a wall, my boyfriends words)

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
The old Belize was a gimmick it was the size of the picture that they showed us. It was not a beach in the ocean even though it had salt it the water. But kids enjoyed it! The Tour guy was really nice! Gave a lot of information about Belize history! To see a real beach or go swimming in one you would have to travel 45 min to St.Pedro or another Island.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
This was a fun one! They turned off the power so you couldn't use your credit cards or ATMS to get money out. They wanted just to bill your ship card so that made you go on excursion. But they had everything on the port! Kids saw dolphins, sharks and fishes with out going on an excursion. Had good drinks! They had a pool by the water. Every nice!

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas Did not visit port

The weather conditions didn't allowed us to go to the port.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica Did not visit port

Not in the itinerary

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

Not itinerary

Cozumel, Mexico Did not visit port

Not much to do? Really? We didn’t feel bored a minute. Waterslides were fun. 4d Cinema, flight Simulator, F1 Simulator, Bowling, Dodge ball tournament. Ping pong. Pool games, karaoke, Gym, Theater shows were hit and miss. Some were really good and some not. food at buffet was some kinda basic I’d say. But there were some changes daily. I remember Asien night with awesome spring rolls and shrimps. At the MDR I had a few times the NY strip steak from the classic menu which was quite good. Service at MDR was amazing though it was quite noisy because the tables were a bit to close to other tables.

I would suggest finding a different type of vacation. You would have similar complaints on any ship. Every ship has a lot of 50+ year olds, even Carnival. (We older people have no real purpose in life anymore so we cruise) By the way, my children think thirty year olds are OLD and out of touch too.
