MSC really lowered my expectations of cruises. When asking for help, I felt like a burden to all customer service staff and dining room managers, even though we were trying to fix issues that were not our fault (missing reservations, charges to our cards for things that we never bought, etc.)
Embarkation
1 out of 5
All activities and meals we had meticulously planned prior to embarkation were never recorded, and we spent the first two days of our cruise waiting in line to reschedule dinners for our party.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Specialty restaurants were excellent, however service there was very slow (two of our three specialty dinners took 3 hours). Main dining was terrible and food was only average. Buffet was good, however extremely busy.
L'Olive Doree & L'Olivo D'Oro
1 out of 5
Extremely slow service, when we asked for help with scheduling our dining times (since our at-home work scheduling was missing once on board) we were told by the manger “sorry but it’s not my mistake” and getting help was like pulling teeth. Food was pretty sad given it was Italian food (pasta, fish) in an Italian restaurant on an Italian ship.
TV Studio & Bar

Great service, fun atmosphere. Went multiple nights.
Brass Anchor Pub

Excellent service, great atmosphere.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Ship had plenty to do, however there are many hidden costs to actually do anything special (e.g. bowling).
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shining gem of this cruise was the seemingly inexhaustible amount of amazing musicians. We also saw cirque du soleil which was great.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Mixed- room stewards were phenomenal. However, wait staff in main dining were slow and had to be given requests multiple times. Customer service staff seemed annoyed that we were trying to fix all of our scheduled meals (that we had done in advance but the reservations vanished once on board).
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Ship was very clean and charming. Too many people on board to truly appreciate the spaces.
Cabin / Stateroom

All good here- comfortable, clean, well-stocked, and pleasant.
It was cool to have an island to ourselves, and while I understand it was recently opened, the beaches had rough rocks, and the beers were barely cold. Other than sit on the beach, there wasn’t anything else to do (no bands during the day).
I have to agree with you on the Costumer Service. Also food was mostly the same. We had issues with someone charging our room a por a sneaker that cost 90 dollars. They where able to fix it before questioning my wife and I to see if we were telling the truth. Shopping area inside the ship ver small to my taste. To be honest I can count with my both hands how many people were actually costumer service oriented. I did feel the same when asked questions it was more like we were burdens. My wife told me she wouldn’t go on another MSC ever. It sad because the ship is beautiful, But the costumer service is horrible.
