The main dining rooms (4 main-restaurants in the 5 and 6 floor) had been very elegant, also the waiters. The dinings had been good, not excellent. The special ordered Lobster had been served very cold and 30 min after the starter. I ordered the Lobster one day before.
The buffets had been not so good, only a smal choice, not to recommend. Also the room on deck 15 was very cold styled.
Onboard Activities

There are a lot of activities you can do on the ship. Very nice ! You can bowling, swimming in the pools, climbing in the Highways, and much more. There are a lot if activities to use.
And you have a casino, bars, shops, 4D Cinema, all you want

The shows in the Broadway-Theater had been excellent. Very very good singers, dancers and performance. Also the Opera La Boheme was excellent. I can recommend all shows in the Broadway-Theater, but not in the special Circe du soleil. The two offered shows are not the best, and you must pay for them

The service of the waiters and room steward was okay, not excellent. The other ship personnel / Crew-members (b.e. on the reception) did not work good, and there are a lot of 'no working' personnel, only by 'walking around'. 1/3 of them is not necessary. I would not give tip for them ! If all 5300 passengers give 10 Euro each day (it is automatically booked on your ship account), the shipping company would get 1,6 Mio Euro (this is a salary of 1300 €/dollars each crew-member, not a Tip. And most of them get only 900 Euto salary each month!)
So I recommend to cancel the autimatic tip !
Ship Quality

The MSC Meraviglia is the greatest shoppingmall with LED-sky on the sea, with shops, casino, restaurants, chocolateria anf over 2500 container-cabins with 6x2,5 meters, and a inbuild ship named MSC Yacht Club.
The Shoppingmall is nice to see and to promenade. So you can see a lot of no-working personnel, like young officers and all the head of the personnel. If you like it, and if you like to promenade and show yourself, and if you like shopping, this is the right ship. But a lot of passengers had no fun with the ship. There are not nice lounges oder coffeeshops, no nice bars...
Cabin / Stateroom

It is a balcony cabin with 6x 2,5 meters (like a container) , not made for a long trip. The wardrobe is very small, also the washroom, but the shower with glass door is also for XL-passengers. The bed is good for sleeping, realy, You can sleep very well. There is also a minibar, phone, tv and a couch, and a safe with automaticly open door.
Ship tip
If you like to promenade, to dine in nice diningrooms, nice shows in the theater, and chocolade, this is your ship. It is a chocolatery on board, you can look what they create. And you have a lot of shops, a casino, special restaurants like sushi, browerie and Steakhouse.
It is a nice port, historical building. The City of Genua is a old historical town, and the port is very nice, and the City og Genua not far way from the ship. So you can visite the old town in 2 hours.
You can go to the city directly from the ship without shuttle, so it is a good stop to visit the old town, a old nice City. I like it, not so far away from the ship.
Very nice, to see from deck 18 to Valletta/Malta, and also down to the pronenade. And with the new lift, you can beam you to the old city in a short time for only 1 Euro. To visit the town of valletta, it is a highlight. And to see Valletta from deck 18 of MSC Meraviglia, this is the second highlight !
Do not take the ship shuttle to the ramblas: it is to expensive ! Take the shuttle from the city of barcelona, it is 2 € to the city center, and the shuttle has a stop on all cruise-terminals A-D. Barcelona is a very nice city: the ramblas, the fish-market, the old churches, the buildings of Antoni Gaudi, La sacrata familia and so on, beautiful! And the new part of the port, you will like it.
Do not book the ship shuttle, it is to much expensive. There is a free shuttle to the town (organized by the city of Marseille), and the bring you direct to the city without any costs.
Marseille is a nice old city with the old port, the cathedral Notre Dame de la garde, new great buildings and nice restaurants.
