Patience. Many of the crew members are less proficient in English than many cruise ships based in the U.S., but pick up on what you’re saying after three or four times. Don’t not practice subtlety.

Don’t expect a big pool. Pools are very small.

To get to the dining rooms use the mid ship elevators and walk to the aft. Not all elevators go to the top floor for the Áurea outdoor area. The aft elevators will take you to the 15th floor and you’ll have to walk up one flight of stairs.

Be open to just relaxing or hanging out with friends. This is a smaller and older ship without lots of extras. (Though there is a bowling alley but I never used it). The nightlife is really fun and if you love to dance you’ll get plenty of that. Your fellow cruisers will be very international which I loved. Overall, I had a ball and got in lots of reading, relaxing and drinking!

If you are interested in more activities, I'd choose a different ship honestly. But being a very short 3 night cruise, it was sufficient given the amount of time actually onboard.
