Good. Services rendered in the dining room, in the cabin and at the Golden Jazz Club was exceptional. In the Buffet Area was the most frustrating experience.

Fantastic first experience on MSC by scandst

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall we are very impressed with the MSC Yacht Club experience. We are definitely going to go on another MSC cruise. There are some very small issues MSC could approve on. The Thermal suites in the spa were very nice, but, should have water provided. After going into the sauna and steam rooms you literally had to leave the area to find water to re-hydrate. There was also a large group onboard that dominated the specialty restaurants. Maybe MSC could work out a policy for this as the majority of passengers could not experience them. It was frustrating and disappointing. These are the only negative issues we had. Over all a great experience.

Below Average experience by martinr67260517

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I think the survey says it all. I challenge anyone to take that cruise and leave with e sense of enjoyment. many travelers we spoke with who had been on an MSC cruise were appalled at the Staff attitude and lack of communication skills. I would not spend my hard earned money to go on this line again. Carnival and even Royal Carribean have a better product and everything from the ship layout to the staffing on their ships' are many more times more enjoyable and professional. There were too many instances of underage children in the 3-10 yrs old category who were left unattended and supervised. Running through people on deck, at the buffet lines, etc. This is an adult boat, and the lack of concern expressed by the ships' stewards and workers at the children running amok was disappointing as well.

Not what I hoped for with my first cruise experience. by Williamsle

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

With the exception of Jamaica the ports were pretty fun. We were a bit dissapointed that we didnt hit the more popular ports. The ship was a relaxing low key experience. The room was too hot to sleep in.

If it weren't for MSC US, this would have been 5-Stars by gadgetrick

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was, by far, the best cruise I've ever taken. MSC is an awesome cruise line and we are not MSC customers because of how well they did on the ship. They need to work out their issues with MSC US though as they're HORRIBLE.

Disappointed First Time Cruisers by maxtheboxer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise and it was disappointing. We felt that the ship was overcrowded and understaffed. On board activities are pretty mediocre, unless you enjoy binge eating at the buffet and splash in a crowded pool full of kids. We would not recommend it.

i must say for my first time traveling on MSC Divina I was really impressed. The staff was very nice and accommodating especially our house keeper she went beyond the call of duty. The food was awesome and my kids enjoyed the kids club. There was never a dull moment as we always had something to do onboard.

Magnificent Eastern Caribbean Cruise by ShirleyMayers

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This is my first cruise experience. I really enjoyed every aspect with family and friends. The ship was well maintained. Our rooms were well maintained daily. The food was good and a lot all through the day for the entire 7 days. A wide variety of drinks at the bars and buffet. Entertainment was superb.

Good Value but can't compare with Royal Carribean by zorij

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship is beautiful, very clean, a lot of modern features , however it felt very closed in on the inside around the shopping areas. If you are used to the openness of the bigger boats on Royal you will definitely feel closed in. The pool area is extremely crowded, too tied for all these people, there are no designated hot tubs for adults only. All were filled with children who used them as play areas and it was difficult to enjoy them. The adult only pool and area was rather small and always crowded, there were no hot tubs in this area. There was another sunbathing deck (no water) but that was for extra charge. On sea days, if you don't get a table by the pool before 8 am. you will not be able to get one till the end of the day, same with the chairs by the pool. There are no towels at the pool, you have to bring them from your room and then return them back to your room. We had to request them from our room attendant on three separate occasions, because he kept forgetting which made it very inconvenient for us because we had to wait on someone to come bring us towels, one day we actually went without because we didn't want to wait and waste time. The food can't even come close to what you would get on Royal ( not to mention Disney). Breakfast and lunch was ok, about the same every single day. For lunch mainly burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and pizza (which by the way was great, original Italian) , some pasta, one meat, not many vegetable options (and always very bland, not a drop of seasoning). Good salad bar. Dinner buffet was a disappointment, very few choices, I found it very unusual, it was always hard to come up with a plate to satisfy ones dinner desires, but they always have pizza so we mainly ate the pizza, but even tough it was very good, it gets old if you have to eat it for 7 days. Also the buffet is very spread out, and a lot of times we had to walk the whole length more than once in order to fill up a plate. Also very hard to find a table at peak times. You have to get your own drink, nobody ever comes to offer refills on the juices/coffee. Service is only for orders from the bar. We get our own drinks at Royal too but they always have servers that come around with refills or to actually bring you coffee, juice if you didn't get a chance to do it on your own. If you expect steak and lobster on the second formal seating, don't unless you are prepared to pay extra. Loved the gelato stations, however keep in mind it is for extra charge. The water slide was a joke, we all had to scoot down the whole way in order to make it out. The bowling was not quite what we expected, it was a cool touch ( also for extra pay) but it was on strings which got tangled too often and it was a mess. The last two shows were great, however I can't say the same for the first 5. They were very similar, with the same singers (which is not a problem) but it was the same style of singing every night ( a bit on the opera side).

We had a balcony cabin and have to say that we really enjoyed it. Over all we had a good time visiting the islands and relaxing. The reason we did this cruise was that kids sail free and that was a huge bonus, however we missed all the amenities we all get on Royals bigger boats, besides the pool here there was not much else to do.

Awesome time by judithyoung72

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The MSC cruise was one of the best cruises I have been on. The ship is beautiful. Those crystal stair case took my breath away!!! The entertainment was exceptional and I love that everything started at the said time. My only disappointing part was never being able to find a seat at the pool because the people kept their towels on them even when they were not at the pool. Also I did not enjoy the buffet but the evening dinners were amazing. Overall it was an amazing experience and I will definitely sail with MSC again.

Awesome Cruise by AbigailMercury

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great day MSC Divina Team, my experience from the begin with Jet Blue Cruise Representative BECCA REAVES went above and beyond what was required. She responded to every email and voice mail. Wonderful personality and always upbeat, positive and provided important information and trips about our Cruise. The staff on the MSC Divina were wonderful from Carlos(entertainment during the day @ pool side), Dennis (cabin Stewart), dinning staff, drink staff, buffet staff , Alex, Promise and among others ( sorry forgot their names) truly went above and beyond our expectations. The entertainment on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday,    and Friday, nights 7:pm seating were just incredible .

Great adventure by tammyandjim2011

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I enjoyed the crew's hospitality and knowledge. They always had a smile and greeted us no matter how many times we walked past them. There was always something to do. I would have liked to get more information about the wait time for the cabin. However, would we have not had carry-on luggage it would have been more enjoyable for us to walk around while waiting on our cabin. I would recommend the MSC Divina to my friends and family.

MSC Divina by jcacchione

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Excursions are great, Embarkation needs some help! Food is good but everyday same food selection served. Cruise has a lot of pros and cons. Cruise is very European if you don't understand the culture this cruise is not for you.

A beautiful ship with all the comfort and great entertainment. by Cruiser16184270

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: MSC Divina / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The favorite part was the nightly entertainment in the theater.  First Class Entertainers (this of course include the Cruise Director).  Attentive, well trained staff everywhere.

The only confusing thing was to reach the Black Crab Up restaurant. Not all elevators get you there.

It would have been a good idea to put a sign or a note on the map to advise which elevator to use.
