Review summary

This was our 2nd MSC cruise. We had a fabulous time. The ship is beautiful. The ports were amazing. The shows were outstanding. Was a great 7 days, just went by too fast.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were first sailing after hurricane Ian. We were able to board early. We walked on at 10:15am. Our room was already ready for us. That was awesome.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
You won't go hungry. And you will always find plenty to eat. But good in buffet felt repetitive. Wish few more options. But we did find some really good things to eat.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There were lots of activities by the pool. Music playing all around the ship in evenings. Two different shows most nights. Three pools. Lots of hot tubs.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment was all very good. Most nights two shows. Lots of music everywhere.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice size. Comfortable. Plenty of storage.

Ship tip

Get plenty of rest before going. So much to do. You will stay busy. Remember to take a pic on the crystal stairs.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel is one of my most favorite places. We rented a buggy. Snorkeled from shore then rode to other side of island. Had a great lunch and relaxed.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Love Costa Maya. We went to the Krazy lobster.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

This island is stunning.

I went on this ship and yes it’s one of the prettiest ships out there. However I didn’t like that it seemed to cater more to the Europeans then Americans. Also when I went before a lot of the shows the Captain would speak to all in like 9 different languages. The food to me again was more of a European flair very very bland. In all my life I never ever had an egg salad sandwich with shredded lettuce in it. But then I tried the chicken salad sandwich and it was there too. So I figured I’d try the tuna salad sandwich and you guessed it.
