Review summary

Terrible cruise from beginning to end, other than the room attendants the staff was horrible on ALL five nights our waiter WROTE down our orders, BUT NEVER GOT IT RIGHT. Add in the maitre d' incedent and you can see how it went NO craps table in the casino,Costa Maya was a joke. Food was good not great, buffet was same offerings everyday stations constantly running out of coffee, creme, french toast etc... was told to go to another station by employee who was STANDING RIGHT THERE!!! NO OMLET STATION. Asked for salted butter at dinner and was told they didnt have any...ACTUALLY had to go up 8 floors myself to the buffet area to get some!!! ON LINE 4 1/2 HRS WAITING TO BOARD Was not permitted to use my on board credit towards my bill!!!!

nice but terrible planning not enough transportation, buffet was a mess, just an MSC cash grab, observed an attendant knock over trays of garbage (food and plates) placed above a trash bin ..picked out the plastic glasses and walked away leaving the food and other garbage on the ground. No one emptying garbage pins forcing people to leave plates amywhere and everywhere

I was on this same cruise and my review is 180 degrees different!! To correct a few discrepancies there is an omelet station as I ate an omelet every morning! If you go outside the port area Costa Maya is a pretty cool port. Take a shuttle down to Mahahaul and have a great beach and food day?!?!

Definitely sounds like cruising is not for you, if you actually went on this cruise. You obviously did not go to Costa Maya based on the description you gave
