Review summary

First time with MSC. Likely will be last. No 24hr bars or restaurants/self-serve. Food was nasty. Juices are watered down. Room service options are unappealing and even they don’t serve beverages once the bars close

Not a lot of security. Lines were very long but they moved reasonably fast.

The food was terrible. Not only that, but they close the buffet around 10. No restaurants or bars are 24hr, not even a self serve area. When you order room service (from the extremely limited option, both at charge and free) they don’t even give you water, they claim that once the bars close they don’t have access to any beverages - not even non alcoholic ones. And room service takes FOREVER. Took an hour and a half to get my order and it was completely wrong. I ordered a tuna sandwich and fruit and ended up with two orders of cookies and a ham and cheese sandwich

Hot tubs were ok but not hot, actually I found them to be lukewarm. There were a good number of them at least. Basketball/soccer area was a nice touch. The shows had the same backdrops, limited theater choices, no 24hr restaurant bar or entertainment. Only 1 nightclub

Housekeeper was nice but none of the staff greet you by name, rarely do many of them speak to you when they pass, they look ahead or down. Female bar manager at the pool bar was very rude. I complained to her about how she clearly ignored me at the bar (and they were not busy), she waited on 3 other people who came up after me and she even made a drink directly in front of me without so much as a hello, I’ll be with you shortly.

Room was clean, bathroom floor was very weathered/dingy/cracked but clean. Balcony was cleaned while I was there
