Review summary

Very disappointed this trip on the Divina.  Our table in the Villa Rosa was extremely tiny for 4 people, and it was placed in the walkway/entrance of the restaurant.  We were lied to by the woman assistant mgr., who assured us that we would be reassigned the next day, but it did not happen. The service was always very slow, and unattentive, and the food always arrived cold.  We would request, for example, tea with the meal, only to have it ignored.  Got tired of having to ask 2 and 3 times for the same thing.  The entertainment was monotonous. There should be a variety of entertainment to include some comedy shows for the adults. We visited the Tshirt store in Grand Turks and purchased $100 worth of merchandise only to be told they did not have the "free" tote bag as Philip stated.  I left Philip a note from our cabin (11268) the night before our disembarking, but he did not attempt to contact me. The only positive experience we had was that our cabin attendant was excellent.  He always provided us with what we requested.  MUCH room for improvement.

I agree with the 'room for improvement' quote. We were on her Feb 4 - 11, 2017. The service was OK but our food always arrived hot. Yes the tables for 4 were very small. We had a table for 8 and the aforementioned table was across from us. We never once saw the CD. Pointless having one quite honestly. Even after 7 days we still couldn't navigate around the ship without getting lost, surprised by a highly polished mirror or a finding ourselves in a dead end corridor or staircase!! Beautiful ship but the 'glue' holding it together was lacking.

I liked the shows on the Divina. It was different chapters of the same book. The entertainers were great. The food was good if you didn't try to eat vegetarian in the dining room and if you are not looking for grits at breakfast and end up with a bowl of smooth semolina. We did finally get a cabin assignment and an apology after they gave away our room. I loved the drink tickets, crystal stairs, pizza, and gelato. It's also a beautiful ship. The thing that will keep me from returning was unwanted advances of a ship staffer on my friend and travel companion. We had to do a lot of ducking and hiding.
