Review summary
I never write reviews, but feel the need to do so this time. To keep it straight and to the point, here are the pros and cons.
Pros- Ports of call, clean ship, big cabin with balcony
Cons- FOOD is AWFUL, early morning announcements on loud speaker in at least 4-5 different languages, back of ship loud when coming into port, infinity pool drains heavily at times over onto balconies along back of ship where we stayed, wait staff can be RUDE, entertainment super cruise ship awful
Would never sail with this cruise line again.

I was so surprised that you did not enjoy your cruise on the beautiful Divina. At least you enjoyed your ports of call and your cabin. It is such an elegant ship. I sailed only once on her and once on the Poesia. I would love to sail again with MSC. I do understand that MSC European cruises are very different from the ones in America. I might hesitate to take a European cruise on MSC but I certainly would take one from FL.
I had such a different experience than yours. I loved the entertainment. In fact, tne best thing that I liked about the ship was the marvelous entertainment every single night. I thoroughly enjoyed the nightly singing and dancing variety shows. With so many international passengers, the ship cannot offer comedians. No other ship that I have been on has had a show every single evening.
I do agree that hearing the announcements in all the different languages is bothersome but I understand the need for it. Carnival makes many more announcements and they are all in English. With the issueing of the Daily Planners, cruise ships don't need to remind passengers of sales, activities, lectures, etc...
I am sorry that the ship did not meet your expectations, though. I understand that everyone's experience on a ship can be quite different even on the same sailing. What is nice is with so many different cruiselines available, you will find one that matches up with what you expect on a cruise. Thanks for posting your review here. I hope that you continue to post your future cruise reviews and I look forward to reading them. Happy cruising.
