Review summary

Overall worth the price, but next time I think I'll research the ports of call better.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Smooth, didn't have to wait in too many lines.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was somewhat disappointing. Mostly tasted good, but texture was lacking. Fish that had the texture of jelly. Carved roasts that tasted good, but you couldn't cut them or chew them

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
They could certainly have better variety of piped in music thru the ship. Latin Hip-hop music gets pretty old after a week.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Mostly canned music. Good singing/dancing programs in the theater, but not much variety.

Children's Programs

Didn't travel with children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service from our room steward and restaurant waiters. They remembered our preferences.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Clean and maintained well, but the layout could be rather cumbersome. Food lines at the buffets and grills were in high traffic areas, resulting in lots of "people jams"

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice size, great balcony. Very clean and very well attended.

Ship tip

The silverware at the buffets is tucked 'way back in the corner. Hard to find when you first get there!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

1 out of 5
I don't like Miami. Far too congested.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

2 out of 5
Didn't get ashore due to very short time in port, and very poor tendering process.

George Town, Grand Cayman

2 out of 5
No shore excursion. Just your basic cruise ship shopping trip. Too short of time in port to do any decent amount of exploration

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

2 out of 5
Most disappointing stop. I was expecting more than just a bunch of resort style shopping and restaurants.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Beautiful beaches, great place to spend the day just relaxing. The food and drink on the island is the same as you get on the boat (included in the price, at least you don't have to pay extra)

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
There's never anything good about the disembarkation process. Hours of waiting, then "miles" of walking and standing in lines. Pointless "security" messures

Glad you enjoyed it. It’s always a good idea to research the itinerary, time in each port, and things to do in each port. There are good options in every port with a little research ahead of time.
