It was a very affordable winter getaway. Booked three weeks before cruising. Being a smaller ship without all the fancy stuff it wasn't overwhelming. Nice ports, good food. Just simply relaxing.

All rooms on floors 7-10 so quick to get to eating areas. Ship was spotless. Constantly cleaning, and touching up paint entire trip.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin size was fine. Laid out well. Nice big window over bed. Shower was really small. It was very clean. Nice to have cabin near rear of ship. Quick walk up to buffet area and was first to get cleaned. Room was very quiet. Couldn't hear any engine noise or vibration.
Ship tip
Probably 75% Europeans. Had some great conversations with them. If you don't need all the fancy stuff it is a nice peacefull getaway.
Took MSC $20 bus ride that simply went to shopping center 20 minutes away. Just like other in-port shopping. Short stop at Hip Strip. Weather was a little rough that day so this had impact.
Always love Grand Cayman and 7 mile beach. Simply take the Public Transportation bus from Georgetown to beach for $2.50. Runs every five minutes both ways.
Loved Mahahual. Only couple miles from port. Very simple mile strip with beaches on one side and local shops and restaurants on other. Great deals. The Costa Maya port itself is a bigger version of other cruise ports. The MSC Catamaran and Snorkel was great. Snorkeling guide was fantastic.
Wow!! Awesome place. Many beaches. Plenty of places to lounge so don't feel crowded. Nice to be at place for 13 hours. Getting into water is a little rocky in spots. Band parade and light show at night is cool.
