Review summary

This cruise was the perfect length for us as new cruisers. There were plenty of things to do on board despite the weather being chilly and windy. Many of the activities were included in the price. The entertainment was one of these and the performers were very impressive!

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All of the food we we experienced was fresh, tasty and the perfect temperature.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the hot tub on our cruise. Unfortunately our weather on this cruise was not cooperative, but there was plenty of other things to do to keep us occupied.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment on this cruise was very impressive! All of the performers, from the ice skaters, singers, dancers, comedians and orchestra were very professional and performed exceptional shows!

Children's Programs

We did not have children traveling with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every crew member we came in contact with was exceptional. They wanted to serve you with a smile and always followed through with making sure they had met our needs. They called us by name and made us truly feel like we belonged there!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the ship. It was very well maintained and didn't show any signs of wear. Our cabin was on Deck 2 and it was a bit of an inconvenience to get to the dining room on deck 3 because there is a break in the deck where guests can't from one end of the ship to the other, (due to the design to accommodate the skating rink) therefore, we had to go to deck four and then to go down to 3 deck to get to the dining room on deck three.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
With this being our first cruise, we were satisfied with our cabin. It was definitely very clean and the size was adequate. We did't spend much time in our cabin because there was plenty to do.

Ship tip

Look for parking outside of the port.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

We drove in locally so need to visit.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
This port was very nice. We took a taxi to the nearby beach for the day. It was a nice break from the ship and not expensive.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We enjoyed Cozumel despite the weather the day we visited. We went on a jeep excursion that was to include snorkeling but the weather did not cooperate and we were unable to snorkel.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was very organized and took us maybe 30 min. to complete the whole process from leaving our room and getting through the port.
