Was a wonderful experience. The staff spoiled us. Had deep tissue massage which was excellent start of the trip, day 1 evening. After massage there was a hard sales pitch to buy expensive products.
Food in Main dining room was as good as expected for mass produced food items.
Ports were fun. Great time was had by all hope to return soon.

Buffet and pizza were good every day. Enjoyed the variety. Especially the Indian dishes
Ate in the main dining room 3 out of 4 evenings. First night had NY strip steak medium. The flavor was ok but it was a tough cut of meat. Had a pineapple cake for dessert but it was room temperature, probably should have been chilled. 2nd evening calamari which was good. Another meat dish which was ok. Crème brule was excellent . Third dinner chicken Parm, good flavored sauce and pasta but the chicken was lack luster generic. Tiramisu was good. Followed each dinner with a cappuccino which excellent.

This is my second time on the Mariner. Rooms a bit dated 6th and 7th floors , but clean. Beds a bit harder than expected.
Common areas always clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin clean and comfortable. The smoke alarm went off when I was using hair dryer under it . Security came 10 mins later wanted to come in. Then told me to use plug in bathroom but it was marked razors only .
Inside the bathroom cabinets appeared to have water damage to particle board backing . Noted black ants on the balcony. Alerted the housekeepers to spray.
Beds were a bit harder than expected.
Ship tip
Buy the magnet hooks to hang your extra towels. Bathing suits etc. the walls are made of metal.
Our excursion to the caves was cancelled. The staff called the kids room and let them know. They did not tell me until dinner and it was too late to book something else. We just strolled the port stores and the straw market. I was surprised how the dock was built to take 4 or more ships.
