Review summary

Horrible experience. Nothing for my daughter to do due to age. Required certain clothing (pants) for some activities but unable to purchase them on boat. Didn’t think to pack pants to the Bahamas in July! She was bored and no one offered a solution.

We’re obviously missing details here, where and what we’re pants required? I can’t see this being an issue that caused a 10yr to bored the whole trip.

Sorry this didn’t meet your expectations research my have helped

If this ship has a skating rink, then long pants and socks are mandatory.

Appreciate your feedback

Not to sound harsh but this sounds like it could have been avoided with a little research on the cruise you were going on, there are tons of videos on YouTube and other media outlets about the cruise and activities on board. Sorry your experience was not satisfactory but hopefully next time it will be much better

Hmmm I’d be curious to know where “pants” were required. I bring a pair two for dinner but otherwise I wear shorts everywhere. Never had an issue. I even wear shorts to dinner in the MDR most nights. Hopefully she will see these and fill in a few blanks.

I also have a 10 year old and will be going in Sept. What do you mean pants? Like below the knees or are shorts ok?

Definitely sounds like you will need to find an alternative to cruising.

Interesting, I wonder why you couldn't just wear shorts for a kids area going to the Caribbean, that area never seemed very formal to me.

For everyone it is important to review company materials and consult CL or travel agent. Sorry about your difficulties

Sounds like cruising is not for you, or you need to do more research to understand what is required for certain activities prior to sailing.
