Food and Dining

The food was good on Mariner of the Seas, basic Royal Caribbean but needed a little more flavor in the Windjammer and Main Dining.

Ship Quality

Royal ships are my favorite. Mariner of the Seas is an awesome ship especially for a first cruise. I love the flow of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

I usually get a balcony for my cruises but this time I got an inside cabin. I loved it! It was extremely comfortable, quiet and the bed was great!

Ship tip

Mariner is a great ship! Crowds are starting to return to normal so I highly recommend wearing a mask in crowds at least for a while longer such as in shows, promenade parties and most importantly in the elevators! I tested Covid positive the day after my cruise as well as many others that was on board. It was by no means Royals fault, just be smart in the crowds. Whatever you do wash your hands especially in the Windjammer and sanitizer after touching all of the servings utensils. Self serve buffet is back and it can get ugly fast. Don’t lick your fingers at the buffet people!

Glad you had a great cruise. Marc Walker (Bing Bong) is a fantastic cruise director. Mariner is one of my favorite ships.
