Review summary

These were our favorite port of calls. I’m ready to go back.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Embarkation went smoothly. The reason for only 4 stars is once you got through all the check in process you had to wait to get on and through the gangway. At one end they were saying not to stop but at the other end you had crew holding up line because people were stopping asking questions. They should have been standing away from the entrance to maybe avoid the hold up on the gangway.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I only ate in main dining room for dinner twice. I had the 3 night dining plan to try each of the specialty restaurants. Food was better than the last cruise but nothing special. Best meal was the short ribs at the Italian restaurant. Best drinks were made by Eduardo in the Schooner bar.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
This was their first 8 day cruise. All the shows just seemed like an afterthought and thrown together.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We were on deck 3 near studio B. I loved the location since there were not many cabins. We had a connecting room. I would not get a connecting room unless you knew the other person. We got lucky and the people beside was quite, but if you had loud neighbors then you are going to hear everything.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It went smoothly, but I just happened to be at the right place at the right time. I never heard any announcements. It could have been because we were eating breakfast in the main dining room. We were done by 7 and then we went to the deck we got on with and got in line and waited.
