Fun cruise, entirely too many people who are now slowly testing positive for covid due to no precautions taken and severe crowding

Review summary

Overall I enjoyed my cruise, however there was no distancing or precautions to prevent covid and I've learned that many on the ship are now sick. I believe that the ship being so full at this point in the pandemic is not safe since there was no way to distance from others. Also very disappointed in the food at coco cay.

Did an excursion on my own. When freeport was cancelled the excursion I booked through Royal was cancelled, then was not added again when port was added

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Beach beautiful, very crowded and food choices very limited and poor. Would have enjoyed local foods such as fish or conch, but sadly we were only offered dry burgers and tacos.

Disembarkation

Forced out of my room prior to the time I was allowed to disembark. Placed in a very crowded stairwell with many other people. No distancing.

I was onboard Mariner of the Seas from April 23rd to 28th. 2022. And, yes, I agree with you about covid! There were many passengers who were coughing, sneezing and with obvious signs of being sick! None of those were at least wearing their masks to protect others onboard...Very selfish. So, many times I wore my own mask to protect myself. None during the whole cruise I saw staff members looking after the sick people or at least remind them that they are not travelling alone here...

Way do you feel people need to social distance if everyone on the ship is Vaxxed? Just wondering.... thought if ones Vaxxed, you are protective from covid!
