Review summary

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. Admittedly, it was odd not encountering crowds or lines in common areas and in today's health climate, enjoyed that the ship was not crowded. And we agreed with Nassau's and RCL decision requiring full vaccinations and negative Covid tests, thank you... otherwise, we would not have sailed.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We arrived before our designated time but were greeted warmly, and in-processed quickly and seamlessly!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the variety and quality of food, and the service, in the Wayfarer dining room. Our designated server, Ikadek, and his assistant, Hemangi, were attentive, professional, and personable. Our family enjoyed talking to them. The Chophouse food & service were amazing, and made our family birthday celebration that much more special!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The salt-water pools were perfect; clean, not too crowded, and poolside service was excellent.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The piano player is a talented entertainer; he engaged the audience and kept the Schooner Lounge hopping. My family members loved hanging out there when he was on duty. Some of the questions asked during the "best married couples show" bordered on raunchy or too personal but the audience responded, and admittedly, we laughed, too.

Children's Programs

We did not have children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward, Noel, was efficient and professional; our room was always spotless. The waiters/waitresses in the Wayfarer, our Dining Room, and in the Chophouse excelled at making us feel like priorities; we never lacked anything.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Common area were spotless; staff constantly cleaned/wiped down stair rails, elevators, etc., and furniture and carpeting were in excellent condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our room was especially comfortable and felt more spacious with the bed positioned nearer the balcony door rather than nearer the bathroom. Noel kept it spotless! We would have like to open the doors between cabins to sit with our family in adjoining cabins but Noel said the doors band a bit in the wind at night and recommended we keep them closed.

Ship tip

Pack carefully because there is not a laundry room or ironing room onboard.
