Wait staff overbearing bugging us every few minutes when we want eat a quite meal. They are trying too hard.

Ship tip

Do not expect great food even the speciality restaurants were lacking. Be prepared for overbearing wait staff.

Overcrowded at Coco Cay when ships are at reduced capacity? "Five ships in port" at a port with space for three? "Overbearing" (i.e., attentive) waitstaff? Yeah, something isn't adding up.

We were on the same cruise. Coco Cay was not crowded at all!!! Lots of beach chairs available all over and the food was delicious, however you wouldn’t have known this since you didn’t get off the ship. As far as wait staff being overbearing, all you had to do was communicate to them you were ok and you would let them know if you needed something. Communication goes BOTH ways.

Always had great cruises with Royal Caribbean went on probably 10 or more. The old saying goes you can please some of the people sometimes but you can't please all the people all the time. That's amazing if the staff goes above and beyond some people complain if they don't do enough people complain we were on Mariner of the Seas in October of this year and had a fabulous Cruise wonderful food and Coco cay was great I can understand the two stars for Nassau Bahama because of the construction but to give a review like this in this time is amazing because the cruise lines are just getting back started and they're trying everything they can to stay afloat so that we can enjoy cruises in the future

Three other cruises on Royal before this according to your profile. Liked nothing about this trip and too crowded when ships are only running at 40% capacity? Doesn’t add up to me.

Just curious on how can 5 ships be in Nassau when they only have 3 open slips on the piers...

There is no way that Coco Cay was crowded with lower capacity. I was there in September for two days with two ships there. Not even a little bit crowded. NCL is my favorite……so no biases here. I found RC staff to be wonderful and the food was great.

Appreciate your feedback. It’s good to have options in cruise lines. Sorry this one didn’t meet your expectations.
