Review summary

Once RC gets a smoother system down for onboarding we'll book again. There should be an expedited system for repeat travelers versus others, we had our paperwork in had while others in front of us were fumbling around which adds up. I liked the old way of check in better. Even for the vaccination paperwork there were way too many checkpoints and questions for it; loading up the info on the website beforehand was pointless for the covid proof items because literally everything was asked again in person as though it wasn't done. That part of the check in process needs to be audited and made more efficient. Otherwise the quality of food went up, staff was excellent once we were on the ship. I look forward to next year or the year after to book once my kids will have a more inclusive experience offered.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
having docs checked 500 times, long lines despite Diamond Plus status, long waits despite registering everything on line beforehand.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Breakfast got a facelift to include brunch items which was nice. Kids food items got cut though, it was hard finding things for them to eat at Windjammer. Dining room was excellent.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not much for the kids to do this time, basically stay in kids club or mini golf.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Juggler was great

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Kids club was great, there wasn't anything else for them to do though, all the other entertainment was vaccinated only.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Iketut and Sukanta were fantastic, remembering what we liked from the day before, fruit ready for the kids. We were never left wanting while they were on watch.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
cramped with 4 people in it but it was good enough for a 4 day.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

I live in Orlando so we have visited Port Canaveral before

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

unable to visit due to restrictions on kids

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Beautiful and spread out, we felt comfortable and everything was clearly marked to navigate/kept clean

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
So much simpler than embarking!

Yeah it sucks to keep showing the same docs. I wouldn't stop cruising over it though.

Thanks for the review. Glad you enjoyed your cruise except for the check in process. Checking paperwork 500 times seems excessive. 😊
