I think we are hooked on cruising and Royal Caribbean. Can't imagine another cruise company that could offer a similar experience that we had for the price. Already looking to book our 2nd cruise!

I forgot my birth certificate and was very stressed about it. When registering, the lady at the counter put me at ease and helped us solve the problem. For a moment, I thought my wife of 33 years was gonna cruise on her own. Turns out, we both got on the Mariner of the Seas and had a wonderful time!

The food was very good. Not 5 star, but, good. We especially enjoyed the evening dinner in the dining room. Our waiter was very attentive and the dining staff even, attempted, to sing for us! ha! As far as the drinks go? There needs to be more soft drink machines on the boat. If we wanted refills, we had to go to the 5th or 11th floor. Not very convenient.
Onboard Activities

We didn't take advantage of the pools, rock-climbing wall or fitness centers. It was a little cool for the pool. Not many swimmers. It all looked very nice though.

The ice show was very good! We also attended a Motown/impressionist show. That was fun. The performers were excellent.

Our cabin staff was WONDERFUL! I think Danielle called us by name every time we left or returned to our room! Very nice, professional lady. She should be commended.
