Review summary

Was overall a very nice cruise, but wish the weather would have cooperated for our 2nd day at CoCo Cay!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We couldn't embark until after 12 because of a coast guard check. Wasn't a problem until I tried to get on board with myself and my three kids and was told my youngest was never checked in (was RC employees fault). Delayed my boarding by 20 minutes, but it was very hectic and crowded especially with 3 little ones.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room night 1 was delicious, but night 2 was the worst ever. The table beside us had their desert and we didn't even have our appetizers yet. Service was very slow and food was cold and just ok. We decided to eat at the windjammer the remaining two nights and had excellent food. The eggs are terrible on the buffet, but that was just mine and my families opinion on them.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were cold, but my kids still loved them. They loved the climbing thing for kids with the hammocks and swings. My brother and stepdad both did the florider and they enjoyed that.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The main shows were terrible and made no sense. The songs were outdated and many people were leaving during it. The ice show was amazing though! Definitely recommend seeing that onboard!

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our main dining room staff seemed annoyed the entire time. The windjammer had the BEST staff. One of the guys dressed in all black for dinner (not sure his name or his official title) but he asked us how we were night 3 and my 3 year old told him he wanted cake so he took him and my 5 year old daughter up to get dessert so I could finish eating. He came back with cake for them and my son told him he only wanted the piece of chocolate that was on the cake and he went and got him a whole bowl of chocolate pieces for him and my daughter to eat! Night 4 we went back to the windjammer and he brought them two bowls of chocolate after they finished eating! Another woman who was a chef I assume (white taller hat on) always came to find us and play with my 1 year old. She would always say, "Where is my baby at!?" She was so kind! My room steward on day 4 when we couldn't dock at CoCo cay and had a rainy and cold day at sea showed my kids how to make 5 different towel animals! They had so much fun. He called my 3 year old Tom Cruise and my 5 year old, Cinderella. Honestly the best staff I've encountered in a long time on a cruise!

Cabin / Stateroom

I always get inside cabins and it was what I expected. Very comfortable and when I had an issue my room steward was on top of it!
