For a weekend cruise, there was so much to do and as a couple with no kids, for the first time in a long time, it was pretty much a perfect weekend getaway.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Had carry on only and from Uber to ship was probably 15 mins.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Main dining had good variety but most often food was not very hot, probably typical of dining in large locations. Enjoyed it all the same.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Always something going on. Quizzes were fun. Activity overload for such a short cruise. Would be difficult to be bored
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Apart from the comedian, who had a great family show (night 1) and adult show (night 3), the headliner shows were poor. The supporting singers in the musical were far better than the lead singers and the story didn’t really work. The last night headliner was a comedy juggling act and were very poor, almost like a 10 year old weak comedy act.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Waiter Leo wasn’t great but his assistant Ian was fantastic. In general that staff was good.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
First Experience on the ship was a bathroom door handle held together with tape. This wasn’t representative of the rest of the ship but shows a miss when it comes to awareness when the bathrooms on embarking decks are in poor visible condition.
Cabin / Stateroom

A little dated but for the time we spent in there for a weekend cruise, everything worked fine. Sink was slow to drain and had to ask for soap when we arrived but no major issues. During rough seas on final night was great to look out window with waves crashing up 15 feet.
Despite windy and not hot conditions, very much enjoyed coco cay. Didn’t spend any money to go to the water park but peach, pool and lunch were all great.
Been here before and not a lot to see, which is typical of many ports. No issues with pushy vendors and just stayed in the port area. Weather poor so not worth spending a lot for hotel day passes.
Purchased the key for the two of us and we got off with our hand luggage as soon as it suited us, although I think with hand luggage we could probably done that regardless?
