Review summary

We work hard and this is the one thing that we get to do to unplug from business for a short few days and we were just expecting better service. In many areas, things just didn't seem to have a leader and they were doing the best they knew how. Customer service is more than a list of check-offs.

Embarkation

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Our room attendant and waiters were nice, when our closet door fell off the hinge and we called maintenance, they were there in 5 minutes, when our room delivery was wrong or someone else's tray, they just said okay. So we had to go to the windjammer and hope it was right next time. The spa experience we had was very inexperienced personnel. During the attempt at a hot stone massage you could hear attendants outside the room arguing. The massage was the worst I have ever had. The attendant didn't ask me how I was doing but "how did she do?" We had an appointment and arrived early but they made us wait over 30 minutes (while walking around us not speaking to us) before they come to inform us we should have checked in and that they had no idea we were there. When we tried to explain that we stood at the check in counter and talked to two of the attendants for 10 minutes as we were checking in before they led us back to fill out the questionnaire, they didn't care to hear that.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

don't base all you cruising on this ship, there is better service out there for people who work hard and love to cruise

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

The weather was a bit nasty

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
it was nice to see what they have done to the island. The food bar was nice and it has a vibrant feel. Things seemed to be spread out enough that you don't have too many people in one place.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
easy, almost too easy.

I believe it, I had all sorts of crap just happen to me on the ship. So much I’m going to have to use a word processing program to format everything.

The short cruises on an older ship tend to be less impressive than a longer cruise on a newer ship.

I don't doubt your account of the service you received however it is very interesting that all that happened to one couple on such a short cruise.
