Great trip! A little something for everyone!
We have booked a second trip on the same ship with friends for our anniversary, so we must have liked it.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We had purchased the Key, which expedited our boarding, however the lines did not look terribly long. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was pretty good. There was always an option we were happy with.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Our daughter took part in the teen club and enjoyed the rock wall, flow rider and Sky Pad. She also played laser tag, that was a bit of a negative experience because the staff member running it was a bit rude, but once the game started she had fun.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Shows that we saw were pretty good. I liked the juggler more than I expected. Piano bar was fun too. Highly recommend the ice show.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Our daughter was at the teen club every chance she got. I was a bit surprised that they had activities that had them moving all around the ship but she loved every minute and participated in most of the activities they offered.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Only ran into one staff member that I found unpleasant. All others had a smile and great attitude!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Found our way around the ship pretty well after the first day. Ship was well maintained and clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Our cabin was a bit tired looking. Could use an update, but it was clean and had lots of storage, and that is what matters most to me! Loved having a balcony and the three of us managed in the room just fine.
Ship tip
There is a lot of extra seating on the top deck in the very front of the ship. We loved it up there because we could still hear the pool activities, ie music, but could still relax and have some downtime.
We did the water park our first day there, (we had two days at Coco Cay) and our daughter enjoyed it. Did all the slides within the first couple of hours, which was good because we beat the rain.
Second day we got off around 8:30, went right to the Oasis Pool and got front seats with an umbrella. We had the place to ourselves for a while. It was great!
We got off the ship to do some shopping. Went to the straw market and a few tshirt shops do our daughter could shop for friends. The straw market was a little intense with people trying to make sales, but a simple no thank you worked well. We got some great items for good prices, and daughter had a few braids done. Decide on price and how many before you get started. Loved the woman who did her braids. We then took a taxi to Atlantis and walked around there. Paid for aquarium, that is a one and done for us.
The Key allowed us to go have breakfast in the MDR then be escorted off the ship. So convenient. With our passports we were through the terminal and our to our transportation in 10 minutes.
