Review summary

To me Carnival Cruise Line is better. Royal has too many additional charges and no access to the free beverages after meals. If you don’t schedule activities before you get on that ship all you will be able to to is take pictures and say you saw this on the ship. Don’t waste your money. Go Carnival

Food was fine. No beverages so they force you to purchase the beverage package. The ice cream was on a schedule so if you missed it. Oh well.

You have to schedule everything. When your on vacation you just want to be spontaneous.

Just ok nothing special. Oh and they charge $2.00 for popcorn at the last show too.

Design was nice didn’t even know you were on a ship and everything was clean

We had a Promenade view interior room. That was nice but the window was a 2way window. See on see out. So that sucked you had to make sure you closed the curtains while in the room so that was a waste.

Add additional $500.00 to your budget because there is an up charge for everything

Thank god for the pools and beaches or this would not have been a perfect day. You pay all this money for this cruise and perfect day and the main attraction is an additional charge.

What activities need to be scheduled before? Ice skating, laser tag, flow rider, rock wall and shows are all first come first serve, no prior sign up available. The free beverages are available at the Cafe Promenade all day; coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice.

Sounds like cruising is not for you. You did not seem to enjoy much of anything. Maybe a hotel at the beach with a pool would be better for you.
