I would definitely cruise again and use but I will only book excursions through the cruise line.

I hate embarkation to begin with. Because I am currently using a cane everyone was very attentive. The only downside to everything was being onboard before our stateroom was ready. We had to hang out in a food area with our luggage.

Our waiter, Homer, was the best! The food was amazing. We did the traditional dining and were never dissatisfied.

We don't gamble so having to go through the casino to get to places was a pain. The shopping was not really something that interested me.

I would change the design where you have to go up to the fifth floor to get to the fourth floor theatre.
I don't see what all the hype was about. This is a dirty, run down place. Urban blight has affected even he tourist areas. It was as dirty a place as I have ever seen. We booked a tour through BJs and the tour guide was horrible. He told us about the fruit trees, the bush medicine, and showed us all the collapsing buildings. He didn't stop long enough for is to take photos.
Dewe self assisted so at we could debarked early and go. This caused us to carry all our own luggage and then wait for our shuttle because the drive was nearly an hour late.
I try to avoid booking through the cruiseline. I just do my research on the various 3rd party tour companies. Ma y have guaranteed return time to the ship, smaller groups,co er more sites and are ALWAYS much cheaper.
