This is a great Cruise if you live in Florida and just want to do a four-day weekend.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The screws used the new terminal a building. It's a beautiful facility. No more throwing your luggage the Big Racks that are forklift and under the ship. There's a conveyor belt that takes your bags right up into the cargo hold. A seamless experience
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food in the main dining room can be hit-and-miss. Most items in the Windjammer are pretty good but many of them were cheap eats like hamburgers and hotdogs.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
This ship was refurbished in 2018 and they did a good job. The waterslide was better than expected. I did not do the rock climbing or the Flowrider although I've done the Flowrider before.
Entertainment
I did not see any of the shows
Children's Programs
I do not have any children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone on board was cheery and helpful and always ready to help you.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was clean and the ship is very well maintained. And since it's a medium sized ship it's fairly easy to get around. We were on the back of the ship which is handy because it was close to the dining room Guest Services Casino and a short trip up to the pool deck
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This cabin had a chair instead of a couch and it made for a ton of room. We used to travel with three people and now it's just me and my sister and there's ample room and storage for everything. The balcony was decent size too
Ship tip
Stop Bahamas are only about 180 miles from Miami so don't expect to see the ship traveling very fast. It mostly just Putt-Putt it around and even was doing figure eights on the sea day. You won't see any waves bouncing off the side of the ship or hear much from your balcony. We combine this with a 7-Day cruise to get our money's worth and also to achieve Diamond status. I wouldn't go on this again unless I lived in Florida.
The island was quite fun and there was more than enough stuff to do. It will be 10 times better though when they get done with the construction on all the new water parks and zip lines and things.
