Review summary

Despite not being able to dock in Coco cay, and the vultures in Nassau, our cruise was amazing. The ship has so many things to do. You don’t even need to get off the boat!

Service and Staff

I have been on 8 cruises total. The staff that took care of us on the Mariner, was by far the best that we have ever had. Or room attendant William was friendly, and knew and remembered our names right away. Our dining room experience was just as stellar. We sat at table 533. Michael and Rosalie were just amazing. There wasn’t anything that we ever had to ask for. Michael even went out of his way to bring my 9 year old a special plate to eat, on a night that she didn’t care for anything on the menu.

This ship is a major upgrade to the old version. Beautiful lay out!!

Our cabin was perfect! William was by far the best room attendant we have had. When telling my kids we were going to book again. My youngest said she only wanted William to take care of us next year!

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island) Did not visit port

Unfortunately we were unable to dock here. I was th awful that the captain had safety concerns first.

Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau was filthy. The dock automatically put us right in the spot light of all of the tourist vultures. We even went to paradise island, where years ago it was clean. Even that area was filthy with people trying to manipulate you. I will take this same cruise again. I will just stay on the boat the next time. The boat is worth every penny to spend on.

To me, most of the ports are just a side show. The ship is the real destination.
