Review summary

Everyone was so pleasant and nice, and smiling. Customer service was quick and efficient. The only part that bothers me is when 2X in Windjammer and just outside of it, someone tried to sell us specialty dining at Jamie's Italian ($30 US per person for dinner) and Chops Grille. When I said: No, thank you, I was asked why not. Because of the cost. I know they were doing their job but it left such a bad impression on me and my daughter-in-law.

Food and Dining

Had purchased the deluxe drink package. For a 4-night cruise, it was worth it. I really enjoyed not counting, not worrying how much the will was going to be. The freestyle Coca-Cola machines were also amazing. There are 4 of them: 2 next to Café Promenade and 2 in Windjammer. Speaking of Windjammer, here is where I was disappointed. Food there was only so-so. Deserts not impressive until the last night when all left-overs from the dining room are offered (I'm guessing). There was even a chocolate fountain. Food in the dining room was much better and the service was great. I had not planned on eating in the dining room other than once to have my daughter-in-law have the experience. When I was reminded how much better the food is in the dining room, we went back. Perhaps they keep the food in Windjammer only so-so because they want us to upgrade to specialty dining. I appreciate the hand-washing station in Windjammer. Much better than having to rub one's hands with cold alcohol goop.

Ship tip

Check you bill every day. I noticed a $13 drink had been added to my bill on day 2 (we had the deluxe drink package). I immediately went to customer service when they were not busy and it was rectified quickly.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

I had rented a beach lounger at South Beach. I was amazing!! We were there to relax and drink. They gave us a VIP bracelet, LOL, which I have to admit, made us feel special. It included a tram ride to and from South Beach as often as we wanted. There were washrooms close by and the South Beach bar was not busy at all!! We went there all day and were served immediately every time. We could see the floating bar was very busy, however. Next time I go to Cococay, I'm going this again.
