Q: I am a newbie to cruises. Should I expect each cabin to have its own bathroom incl. shower? Also should I bring my own soap and shampoo?

A: Shower stall, Towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap are included in your room. There is a dispenser affixed in the shower.
Answered by Dhivah on November 18, 2024
A: You will have your own bathroom. If you are in a junior suite or higher, there will be separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers hanging in the shower. Balcony rooms and below have shampoo with body wash combination in one dispenser.... There will be a bar soap for the sink. I suggest bringing your own for the shower unless you are not picky about it.See More

A: We were midship deck 7 with promenade window. Loved the extra seating area. Never noticed any noise and I specifically look for a quiet room.
Answered by amdixon250 on October 23, 2024
A: We’ve stayed in them a few times and noise really wasn’t an issue. Go on deck 7 so you won’t have something like Boleros under you, and like the other poster said, the curtains cover most of the noise. The couch under the window is a nice bonus. W... atch getting dressed though as a room will be right across from you. Or maybe treat it as a feature - to each their own. :-)See More

A: I enjoyed the view. We were on the sixth floor and was not bothered by the noise. Once the drapes are closed, you’re good.

Q: we want to get a spacious ocean view room , but it is only available in front of the cruise ship. I worry about seasick. should I book a room in the front of ship?

A: Honestly, I stay away from cabins in the front for that very reason, especially on the smaller ships. on the Oasis class ships, I was ok in the front. (huge ships)
Answered by Krimson2002 on October 18, 2024
A: If you book a cabin not up high there is less motion. I suggest taking Dramamine it always works for me.

Answered by grandmapammie on June 27, 2024
A: Limited. You can bring power chargers with multiple USB ports as to save on charging space and outlet usage. Amazon sells good ones.
Answered by kaycruiser0992 on June 12, 2024
A: Do NOT bring any power strips!!! They will take it out of your bags!! Seen a dozen in security. We got a plug with 2 usb ports on it. Took turns when blow dryer was needed and curling iron !
Answered by Suzie68 on June 11, 2024
A: They are indeed pretty limited in quantity. We have always managed but we only bring three items that need a plug. If you travel tech heavy then I’d recommend a cruise line approved power strip. Make sure it’s cruise line approved or they will confis... cate it.See More

Q: When cruising, my hubs leaves his phone at home for a friend that takes all of his calls. I take my phone only to take pics. Any suggestions on how to communicate on the ship if he wants to stay in the cabin and I wanna walk the ship ;). We dont want to purchase internet. Walkie-talkies? Thank you in advance

A: You can use any of the wall phones around the ship to contact your stateroom the number is usually you stateroom door number
Answered by Jenstepbtinternetcom on September 27, 2023
A: 😱 really loud.Just kidding. Post-it notes or dry erase board works but they're not "real time." Other than that, walkie-talkies but range is limited with all the steel and bulkheads. Good luck and have fun!
Answered by justlovincruisin on September 27, 2023
Q: Maybe already asked, or dumb question. But if we were to not purchase any kind of drink package, how much liquid that is non alcoholic are we allowed to actually bring on the ship? We cruised for the first time this past January, and know that we can bring 12, 17oz or smaller beverages with our checked luggage that goes straight to our room. Could we carry on more that we just carry around with us all day until we can get in our room? There are two of us in our room!

A: honey824 is incorrect. You can bring a 12 pack of bottles soda or water
Answered by jalockw on August 30, 2023
A: Yes, you can bring drinks on-board. Here is a link for the allowances - royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/food-drink-onboard-policy. or go to the Royal Caribbean main web site, click on the three lines on the top left. Then choose FAQ. There is a... ton of information there. In the search bar, you can enter "bring my own drinks" and find your answer there.Hope that helps. Happy cruising!!See More

A: You can't bring beverages on the ship. They have a water package of 12 bottles of Evian for $23 and they will have it in your stateroom when you get there.

Q: Do you need passports for Royal Caribbean? We were told our driver’s license and birth certificate is fine to get on and off islands. We’re sailing next month.

A: if it's a closed loop cruise. drivers license and social is suffice. would recommend just in case you miss the ship or you need medical attention out of country
