First Time Cruiser ~ Fun Learning Experience

Sail Date: June 01, 2015

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

A couple things I will do different next time, but the staff and the service and the food all were impeccable. Am ready to try different islands next time and maybe do some further research on each before we book.  We prefer more relaxing over shopping and walking around and will make sure to book shore excursions based on what each isle offers, but think that some of them were a bit overpriced for what we got (compared to excursions taken in the past offered in places like Cancun where we felt we got more bang for our buck).

The rock climbing wall (the only highlight entertainment for the kids) was off limits the entire time.
Destinations and Excursions
We were rained out of one our excursions and there's no remediation offered in those circumstances
Cabin / Stateroom This is not an accurate picture of our room, nor was the floor plan even close to what we expected, but it accommodated us all well enough. Cabin was great with the exception of the electrical outlets -- there was only the one outlet and it didn't quite hold the plugs in.. very loose.
Miami, Florida
Nassau, Bahamas
My kids called this "pirate island" for numerous reasons. The vendors don't take 'no" for an answer and we got ripped off on the braids they pushed on us.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Rained the entire time.
Key West, Florida
Was looking for a beach and there was none.

Can't express enough how courteous and pleasant all the staff was; the service was impeccable.
