Review summary

I could not get on the cruise because they said I did not bring my I20. Before I go to the cruise I checked carefully on your website and it only told me to bring my passport and visa with multiple entries, which I did. I've saved my time and money for years to go to this cruise. I was really upset and did not get any refund from them. They never apologize. I am a travel agent and I am going to stop all of our tours with them. I'm also so disappointed of their customer service. I called for several times, the representatives were extremely rude and they could not solve my problem regarding the issue. They would refund or resechedule the trip for me. I would never sail with them because they just want to get your money and do not care about their customers at all! Do not cruise with them!!

I CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE THAT DAY AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING MY PASSPORT THAT'S IT!!!!! I am a travel agent doesn't mean any of my customer is holding the same visa as I do! I do not bring my I20 with me all the time becuz I am not crazy and want to lose it! I booked this for my personal time that means it is not my working partner's job to do this! I posted about on board experience becuz I had to put something there -- IM NOT GOING TO PUT 5 STARS FOR A CRUISE THAT I GOT REJECTED TO GET ON BOARD?????????? I paid for everything and they rejected plus never refund any money back... their or your company deserves a bad review for the customer service!

A couple of things that confuse me here (and maybe you can clear them up for me) is that as a travel agent, you hold an I20? An I20 relates to a "Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status-For Academic and Language Students" studying in the United States. As a "travel agent", I would hope you would have known you needed the I20 to travel in the first place. You identify yourself as a travel agent yet this was your first cruise? That IS possible I guess but as a travel agent, you don't know ANY other agents that have cruised before that could have advised you? Since this was your (supposed) first cruise, and your were leaving from the U.S., did you call RCCL or did you just rely on their website? Just relying on website information in a situation such as yours to me is poor planning. There are too many circumstances regarding cruising from a foreign country (which you were) not to take EVERY step to ensure you had all the information you needed to cruise. You post your review regarding the "Majesty of the Seas" yet you never even made it on board! If I had ever arrived at the pier without necessary documentation, I would not be allowed to board either so I MAKE SURE before I cruise, I do research. Sounds like you did not. IMHO, I think there's more to this story than you are revealing.... Sorry.
