Review summary

It was an overall great first time cruise experience. There was a nice mix of travelers (young and older) and we met some really fun people. We will definitely take another cruise with RC next year.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

The beach was closed due to hurricane debris washed up on shore. A lot of shops were closed due to the hurricane evacuation the week before. But there were enough shops open. It's a very quaint place and the people are so laid back and friendly. It was just nice to walk around, shop, eat key lime pie and have drinks at the Bulldog which had a live band before going back to the ship.
Don't Miss: Definitely have some key lime pie!

Nassau, Bahamas

We took a $3 ferry to Paradise Island and visited Atlantis. That's a great resort. We spent most of the day on the public beach which provided umbrellas, chairs and drinks all day! However, I could have done without the solicitation from the locals.
Don't Miss: Atlantis

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

The water was murky from the past week's hurricanes, but it was very relaxing on the beach. The cookout was good and there was plenty for everyone. We played volleyball. That was a lot of fun also.

Pros: Activities/Entertainment

Cons: Paying for sodas/water
