Weather was a factor at two ports. Would have liked some compensation for this, but I guess the cruise line has this happen all the time and it would be expensive to just send a apology.

Where's the ship able to dock? If the ship was not able to dock yes you should have gotten some money back from missing your port. But if the ship dog or anchored was tenders then no you weren't entitled to anything back. However on the bloggers Cruise they were saying that when they missed a port, that they had to go to guest services to get money back from the cruise line that it wasn't automatically refunded to you. That is the thing about norwegian. The passengers have to request it from Guest Services otherwise the cruise line keeps it for themselves due to the fact that they are so much in debt.

You can usually look at reviews of ports and see ones that are often skipped due to weather. If you ever must visit a port, don't go there by cruise since any port can be missed. You can't be too upset for missing a port since we all know before we book that it is a possibility. That said, if I ever book a cruise to Antarctica and we have to skip it, I will be upset.

I only hope you are not serious about compensation it was an act of God ! Any cruise would be powerless to alter the circumstance in question.

Why would the cruise line compensate you for weather? Should you receive compensation for a sunburn?
