Overall, the cruise ranked a 3.5 out of 5. I love cruising (my 26th) so I'd so it again....
Embarkation

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I was informed that this was a "training" cruise for the new employees. MDR Concerto, the service was great in most areas of the restaurant, but we we're sat in the training area twice and the service was slow. They failed to offer the minimum of bread & drinks before the appetizers. The buffet was ok. They offered a lot of variety, but the food wasn't great. I felt that the service there was also sub-par.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We had the spa package, so we enjoyed that 4 days out of the 7. We enjoyed the Aft of the ship, where they had a really chill area to play cards, have a drink, etc. They're was also a putting green on deck 18, I enjoyed that. I did enter and win the free throw/3 point shooting contest as well. Outside of that, the ship is basically activity free. It's mostly a chill zone.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The Whitney Houston tribute singer was good, the comedian was ok and the guest speaker, Leo Rossi gave us great insight on his career in music with Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and many more. We did not catch any of the production shows. Major disappointment was there was no nightclub at all.
Children's Programs
No kids with us
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Our room steward, Romy was GREAT. The bartenders at the Good Spirits at Sea bar we're great. He made us personalized drinks, even one that wasn't on the menu. All the other staff was just ok and not very friendly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship was beautiful and the cleaning was constant. I think it was designed and laid out well.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was a little small, but manageable. However, we had an inside, so it was expected. This may sound weird (LOL) but, I was pleasantly surprised at the water pressure of the sink. It was smooth, strong and soft. Usually the water stings and splashes everywhere.
We did the El Arco Cruise & Scenic Views excursion. I had done this before, but the couple with us had not, so we went again. I don't recommend if you've already seen the arch. Nothing special after that.
We did the Mahajuitas Cove, Yelapa & Lunch excursion AFTER our preferred excursion was cancelled. This tour included snorkeling, beach and a hike through a local fishing village to the main attraction....a waterfall. I enjoyed it, but the snorkeling wasn't great as the water was not the clearest. Side note - cold too (LOL).
