Review summary
So I have to say that my 1st Princess cruise was a mixed bag. They put out an excellent product. The cruise itself was everything I would hope for. Unfortunately, my mother's accident on day 2 put a big cloud on the remainder of the trip. The passengers, crew and staff could not have been more kind and helpful. However, i was rather taken aback at the hour long review and re-creation of the incident-not to mention the paperwork and the bill that came immediately after. Still surprised we heard from no one about any compensation of any kind and the hoops I had to go through to get a refund on 1 of mom's excursions. No one offered her as much as a free drink or chocolate strawberry. Not even a sympathy note. Bottom line and warning-watch out for the heavy, fast-closing doors on deck, and don't get your shoe caught underneath.Embarkation
