We ended up having breakfast and lunch with several of the entertainment crew almost everyday. Being a fellow musician, we all had great conversations and made lasting friendships.
Tony (Trombonist) comped us for dinner at the Specialty Restaurant of our choice, so we chose Bistro La Mer.
We were also chatting with Luke, one of the dancers, and my wife started talking about how cute Stanley the bear was. As we got on the elevator, Luke popped in and handed Suzi a bag with Stanley in it!!! It made her day / cruise.
This is just another reason we will remain loyal to Princess!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Had major issues linking my booking to the Medallion app. Ocean Navigators couldn't figure it out until 11:00 PM on 10/29... Considering, Embarkation was smooth, but with 50% capacity, hard to compare.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

For taste and quality, very impressed. The buffet was crew-served. They had no problems giving more food or picking out what you wanted. We never ate at the MDR.
We had dinner one evening at Crown Grill. The Chilean Sea Bass was wonderful. The Filet was a little on the dry side. We were disappointed in the serving sizes of the side dishes. There was barely enough of each side for one person. They gladly brought more, but the portion size was even smaller. Neither even covered the bottom of the dish it was served in.
Another night, we at the the French Bistro. The Goat Cheese appetizers were awesome! I ordered the seafood bisque. I was pleasantly surprised to see this crusted top bowl. The server cut the crust off and underneath was this miniscule amount of soup. (Pictures attached).
Chopsticks Noodle Bar

I ate there almost every lunch. I hope to see this option on more ships.

Great tasting lobster roll but a bit pricey. Lobster roll on Carnival Panorama was twice the size at a similar price.

Didn't really use but giving 5 stars.
Entertainment

AJ Jamal is always funny. Missed him during the pause. This cast for Encore was the best. All in all, our favorite group of singers and dancers in our 14 Princess cruises.

Mary Ann was our room steward. Great job! Everyone we talked to was so happy to be back working!

Everything was pristine.
Cabin / Stateroom

Due to all the FCC's we accumulated over the pause, we went for a Mini Suite. Love the location. You can look down and see the waves crashing into the hull. So relaxing.
Ship tip
Being that Majestic was originally designed for Asia, it is a bit different. Try Harmony and Bistro Sur La Mer Specialty Restaurants.
Oh yes, Al was hilarious, and as politically incorrect as possible. We loved him! (Well, except for one drunk ‘lady’ who stole the show complaining about him all the way as she tried to find the exit and yelling at him to shut up when he tried to direct her to the right path)
